The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently going to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies into the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering solutions like new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency said it really is alarmed with regards to the large number of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your significant variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and sassa there's no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a regular basis. The company point established for intervention ordeals a higher sassa influx of potential beneficiaries, which makes it tough for that office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional means to enable the servicing of all shoppers and boost usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
